Flight Plan Submissions
The Flight Plans Repository is one of the keys to flying with EOAC and The Alliance. Pilots may download the complete flight plan from the Repository as an aid to flying the route either on or off line. All pilots are welcome to submit their own flight plans for any EOAC or Alliance route. The idea is that Flight plans are produced by Alliance pilots for Alliance pilots. An EOAC pilot's flight plan submission will be counted as contribution toward the promotion on the type rating ladder. Pilots flying for Alliance partners are invited to maintain an EOAC type rating should they wish. Guidelines on the submission of flight plans: 1) They may be FS2000 and/or SquawkBox FMS format. 2) Naming convention should be XXXX-XXXX, where XXXX is the full ICAO airport code. This code is available on the appropriate schedules page. The pilot should clearly state the Aircraft type rating that the submission is to be counted for: 3) The pilot may choose to make the flight plan as detailed and realistic as wished. EOAC will not reject a flight plan on grounds of realism. All flight plans count towards gradings. If a pilot wishes to upload a flight plan as 'EOAC Certified' then it should comply with local SATCO division routings, Jeppesen Low Altitude Enroute Charts, SimCharts, and to wherever possible Eurocontrol Standard Routing Scheme. Both FS2000 and SquawkBox FMS flight plans should be provided. One EOAC Certified Flight Plan counts as one submission for grading purposes. Four other flight plans count as one submission. Submissions are to be filed to eoac_2000@hotmail.com. 4) Standard Flight Plans will be uploaded as submitted and will not be checked by an EOAC member of staff. Flight Plans submitted as Certified will be checked and flown by a member of the EOAC staff. Example: Orinoco Womble must submit 1 EOAC Certified Flight Plans for ATR routes in order to gain the rating of ATR Senior Captain. Alternatively Orinoco may submit 4 standard flight plans to the repository in order to gain the same rank. Once Orinoco has attained Senior Captain Rank for that aircraft he must submit a further 24 standard flight plans or 6 certified flight plans to gain the rank of ATR Commercial Captain. Orinoco may continue this process for all of the aircrafts on the Alliance fleet, gaining rank and infamy as he goes along. |
